These presets have been developed from my own experience of working with ILFORD black-and-white films throughout my professional photographic career, including fashion, advertising, editorial and portrait commissions for commercial clients.

Having worked extensively with traditional film, darkroom processing and photographic printing, I have drawn upon that practical knowledge to create my own digital interpretations of the films I know and have used professionally.

Each preset is my attempt to capture the visual essence of traditional film within a modern digital workflow — its tonal character, contrast, shadow density, highlight transitions and grain structure.

These are not generic filters or scientifically exact film reproductions. They are my own creative interpretations, developed to bring the character and photographic qualities I associate with analogue film into Lightroom and Adobe Camera Raw.

The objective is not simply to imitate film, but to preserve its character while retaining the creative control of digital photography.
